Ruthless gust of wind with a might,
blew away the dainty candle light.
Drop by drop the pearly wax melted,
a silent sacrifice that went unnoticed.
No cry of pain nor a plea for mercy,
No words uttered yet so much to say.
The glow slowly melted into nothing,
a pitch of darkness it went burning.
